Privacy, in plain English.

What this site collects

Nothing, on its own. There are no accounts, no cookies set by us, and no analytics or tracking scripts anywhere on this site. Two things do involve someone else, and only if you choose to use them: the booking calendar, and the voice assistant. Both are set out below.

Booking a call

The booking calendar on our booking page is provided by Cal.com and runs inside a frame on that page. When you book, the name, email address and time you enter go to Cal.com, who process them on our behalf and send us the booking. Cal.com also sees your IP address and sets its own cookies inside that frame, under their privacy policy. We use what you send for one thing: getting back to you. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to any mailing list.

If you'd rather not use it, calling or emailing us works just as well.

The voice assistant

Our voice page lets you talk to an automated assistant in your browser. It is off until you start it, and it is optional — nothing else on the site depends on it.

If you do start it, your browser asks your permission for the microphone, and while the conversation is running your voice is sent to OpenAI, in the United States, to work out what you said and to answer you. That is a transfer of personal information outside Canada, and while it is there it is subject to the laws of that country. We keep audio out of OpenAI's model-improvement programme, so your voice is not used to train their models. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

We do not record the conversation, and we do not keep it. No transcript is written down, nothing is stored on our side, and the assistant cannot take a message, book anything, or pass a phone number to a person — it is deliberately built without the ability to do any of that. It will not ask you for personal details, and you shouldn't give it any.

So that one visitor can't run up the bill, we count sessions against your IP address for the day and send OpenAI a one-way hashed version of it. We never store your IP itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

If you'd rather not talk to an automated assistant at all, don't start it — or call 289-217-0286 and speak to one of us instead.

Calling or emailing us

If you contact us, we keep the correspondence while we're talking and for up to two years after our last exchange, in case you come back. If we don't end up working together, we delete it after that. Ask us to delete it sooner — or to show you what we hold — at any time, and we will.

Who's responsible for it

Kaliber Autonomy is accountable for the personal information in its care. Our privacy contact is reachable at admin@kaliberautonomy.com. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Services this site is built on

Like most websites, the site is delivered by a few infrastructure providers. When your browser loads a page, it requests files from these services, which means they see your IP address and standard request logs under their own privacy policies: GitHub Pages (hosting), Google Fonts (typefaces), and Cloudflare cdnjs (one animation script). We never receive or see those logs.

Two more are involved only when you use the feature they belong to: Cal.com when you book a call, and OpenAI when you talk to the voice assistant. Both are described above.

Sample data in demos

Every product demo on this site — names, phone numbers, jobs, reviews, dashboards — uses fictional sample data. No real customer information appears anywhere.
